Dry-cured back bacon is a favourite amongst many, as it has a delicious taste is ideal for many dishes. Whether you want some bacon to accompany your morning toast or want to add another layer to your breakfast sandwich, we have you covered.

Back bacon is sourced from the loin at the back of the pig, in the middle. This lean and meaty cut has less fat in comparison to other cuts. Dry cure back bacon also features a ham-like texture and flavour.

Dry curing bacon is executed by rubbing the exterior of the fresh pork with a variety of ingredients, such as seasonings and salt. Then we allow the meat to sit in its juices to soak up the flavour. The back bacon is dry-cured on the Somerset Farmhouse premise to ensure a fuller flavour.

We have different weight options of dry-cured back bacon available, including 250g and 500g. You can select the quantity you require, as we understand all our customers have different requirements.
