Poultry is one of the most popular types of meat. We offer our customers a selection of the finest, freshest and farm-reared poultry. From corn fed to traditionally reared poultry, fowl and free-range there is something for everyone in our farm store. All of our poultry can be purchased as whole birds or cuts depending on your requirements. At Somerset Farmhouse, we want to break away from the norm, where the focus is on churning out poor quality poultry at low cost with little regard to the environment or welfare of the animals.

We source and supply all of our poultry from farmers where the welfare of the bird is paramount. This is important in the supply of quality meats to our customers. All of our free-range and barn chickens are bred and reared locally, working under farm-assured schemes to make sure that welfare is the number one priority and the chickens and other birds are free to roam. All of the birds have a special diet so they grow strong and healthy and will produce the best possible flavour. You can browse our farm shop where you will see a selection of poultry from diced chicken to fillets and turkey breast joints. As well as our poultry, we also offer our customers a selection of tasty chutneys, sauces and dressings that perfectly complement our poultry.
